Primary chaincase cover, for left hand gearchange.
You also need gearchange spindle bush 577055.
For Triumph T140, TR7 (1976-88).
Made in England for LF Harris.
Please note: This is the later cover but is suitable for the earlier models also. The difference between this cover (717465) and the earlier cover (717003) is that where the gear lever crossover shaft comes through the case on the early one it has a bush all the way to the outer edge and has an o-ring on the shaft. The later cover has a shorter bush (577055) and uses the “X” section seal (571956) fitted on the outside, so can be retro fitted.
